
With more than 2,000 active users, Mango University from the National Mango Board teaches the language of “mango.” Consider it a culinary Duolingo; like the language-learning site, the dual-track educational platform helps foodservice professionals master a skill–in this case, utilizing fresh, flavorful mangos in the kitchen.
Fresh Mango Culinary Education
Now launching as part of Mango University, the Fresh Mango Culinary Education course is a free, self-paced, online program designed for culinary students, professionals and curious minds alike. Participants will:
- Learn how to cut, select, store and prep fresh mango
- Discover how mango adds color, flavor and superfruit nutrition to a wide variety of global dishes
- Explore the naturally invigorating benefits of fresh mango, including its 20 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
- Complete six interactive modules, chapter quizzes and earn a certificate of completion
Bonus for Chefs

The program is ACF-approved for 8.5 continuing education hours. Culinary participants can simply add their ACF number during registration to receive credit upon completion.
