Adam Noyes, CEO of Atlanta-based Proof of the Pudding and a member of the CFE News Editorial Advisory Board, describes an unforgettable lunch with his family in the Amalfi coastal town of Ravello, Italy, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea:
My family had the opportunity to tour the Amalfi Coast this past year. We experienced the amazing culinary destinations this special place has to offer, from cooking classes and farms producing olive oil and lemons, to some of the best restaurants in the world. It was a true immersion in Italian coastal culture.

A good friend of mine suggested we stay a night and experience the dining at Caruso, A Belmond Hotel in the town of Ravello. His recommendation of the Ristorante Belvedere certainly did not disappoint. The atmosphere was a 12 out of 10. We felt on top of the world, enjoying the 360-degree views of the gardens, historic buildings and hills that cascaded to the ocean below.

The elegant yet approachable service was customized to anything we wanted, either on or off menu, with a skilled sommelier who guided us to the right choices. We enjoyed salads fresh from the garden, alongside freshly baked Italian breads and olive oils. Then came the main event—a chef prepared tableside a colossal four-pound fresh lobster linguine entree that will go down in family history as the best lunch experience ever! It was as close to dining perfection as you can get.
